Read and Gone by Allison Brook My rating: 5 of 5 stars I have not read the first book in this series and reading this second one I didn't feel like I had missed anything. I Absolutely loved this book. It was fun, fresh and fascinating. I did not want to stop reading it to see who dun it. I really liked the main character, Carrie because she is someone people can relate to and her little feline friend, Smokey Joe. I will be reading the first in this series, it was that good. I love the ghostly element to the book and the ghost is lovable and kind. Just when you think you figured it out, you are thrown a curve ball. There are a couple of cozy mystery series I love and this is right there at the top with them and I love the cozy mysteries genre. I think anyone who love Cozies will enjoy this book as much as I have. This has it all murder, romance, intrigue, haunting and a side order of love of family. View all my reviews
