Dead Air (A Talk Radio Mystery #1)Dead Air by Mary Kennedy
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Maggie's radio show has taken her into a place she never dreamed of, in the middle of a murder investigation. When a guru that Maggie had on her show ends up dead hours after the interview, she is suddenly facing threats and a gorgeous investigator and both leave her mind and stomach tied in knots.
This was a good read and has many twists and turns. It didn't suck me in like some cozies but it made me want to hurry back and find out what happens. I will be reading the next in the series "Reel Murder"

Against the Sky (The Brodies of Alaska, #2)Against the Sky by Kat Martin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I did not want to put this down. What a great and exciting book. It was fast paced, exciting and one a person got lost in when reading. Although this is the second in a series, it was good as a stand alone. I am though going to read all books in this series.

What's Left of Us (Us, #1)What's Left of Us by Michele Tucker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I couldn't put it down. It was a heartbreaking and heart healing read. Friends for life, that was Ash, Beck and Calla one you saw one you would find the others. Plans to go to college, and small adventures were talked about and planned, but you know what they say about the best laid plans. Nothing more true could be said about these three. When one ends up going another direction and the group is broken up causing pain, guilt and rifts so deep.

The Barefoot BelieversThe Barefoot Believers by Annie Jones
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sometimes you do get second chances in life and sometimes you don't realize the baggage you carry in your heart from old hurts or just feeling inadequate. This will make you believe in second chances and letting you know you can lighten your baggage with love. In God all things are possible. I just loved this book and am looking forward to reading more work from Annie Jones. Love the way she played on each person's strength and weakness. A great book.

Bright Side (Bright Side, #1)Bright Side by Kim Holden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I just got done reading "Bright Side" and I am writing this review with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. I don't know if I should cry and be angry or to be angry and cry. This is just an amazing read. I really don't think there are words in the dictionary to describe how this book makes me feel but I will do my best.

Kim Holden done an amazing job in the characters she chose in Bright Side. The way they just seem to belong and mesh together and so diverse but it works. Everyone adds another dimension to the main characters and they complete each other. They complete Kate and Kate completes them.

Kate's a healer and she has a need to "fix" everyone and make them better and stronger then they thought they could. She had a way of making everyone feel special, loved and needed. I will finish this review later because right now I can't quite put into words what I need to say.

One thing I can say for sure is that you need to read this and beware because your heart will ache, your heart will break but you will smile and you will fall in love with Kate just like everyone else because I don't think anyone is immune to the powers of Kate Sedgwick's beautiful heart and her "Bright Side". Just remember this "DO EPIC" AND ALL WILL BE ALRIGHT
