The Marine's Song

From the Halls of Montezuma,
To the shores of Tripoli;
We fight our country's battles
In the air, on land, and sea;
First to fight for right and freedom
And to keep our honor clean:
We are proud to claim the title
Of United States Marine.
Our flag's unfurled to every breeze
From dawn to setting sun;
We have fought in every clime and place
Where we could take a gun;
In the snow of far-off Northern lands
And in sunny tropic scenes;
You will find us always on the job
The United States Marines.
Here's health to you and to our Corps
Which we are proud to serve;
In many a strife we've fought for life
And never lost our nerve;
If the Army and the Navy
Ever look on Heaven’s scenes;
They will find the streets are guarded
By United States Marines.

Mystery of Man and Woman

There’s one mystery yet to be solved-
Love between man and woman that are involved.
Like a language barrier where one can’t understand the other-
One is not involved enough-
The other wants to smother.
One wants to talk -
The other's too tired to listen.
One wants to sleep -
The other’s into kissin’.
One wants to go out -
The other wants to stay home.
One wants to cuddle -
The other wants to be alone.
One wants to watch a movie -
The other - games on at eight.
One wants to get up early -
The other wants to sleep late.
They are both of a separate time, maybe a different universe,
No matter what one wants, the other wants the reverse.
It’s not one or the other, they should both take the blame,
So as long as there’s man and woman, things will remain the same.
One will always want that, the other wants this,
That’s just the way it is as long as there is a mr. and mrs

True through and Through for the Red, White, and Blue

You may be a great speaker but you speak only lies,
You don't speak for me so don't even try.
I don't bow down to dictators and I never will,
My American pride you can never steal.
You can say, go and do as you please,
But I love this country, sea to shining sea.
I am a patriot through and through
I will stand up for the red white and blue.
Red for the soldiers standing up for our rights that died,
love that is as deep and far-reaching as the blue sky.
White for the states that salute as our flag prodly waves,
I will be a Patriot, till my dying day.
So if patriot stands for god and guns,
I guess that would be me and I'm not the only one.
We stand for freedom, liberty, and justice for all,
And believe when I say we'd die before our flag falls.

Support Our Troops

The Army, Air Force, Marine and Navy,
Who believe in peace and that’s no maybe.
We Americans want you to know,
Even if our feelings don’t always show,
That our hearts and thought are with you,
Your loved ones with hearts so true.
We are behind you so don’t you doubt,
The patriotism and support so devout.
We know sometimes you are lonely and blue,
But we believe in the things that you do.
We appreciate you one and all,
The pride you show still standing tall.
We want you all to come back home,
Remember you are never alone.
We are with you every step of the way,
Our faith in you will never stray.
We lover you all and miss you,
Always remember our hearts are true.

Why Mommy Why ???

Mommy, do you ever miss me?
Why wouldn't you let me be?
Why couldn't I grow to be alive?
Oh, Why mommy did I have to die?
Why wouldn't you let me grow?
I was a part of you didn't you know?
Never to hear my little cries,
Why Mommy did I have to die?
I could have made your life complete,
With the patter of my little feet.
Never to watch me learn and explore,
Because I don't exist anymore.
Even though you didn't want me to grow,
Another couple would have wanted me so.
You gave me life and took it away,
I will never grow to go out and play.
Do you ever wonder what look I might have had,
Would I have looked like you or my dad.
Mommy, you may never see my face,
But thoughts of me you will never erase.
I'll go on living inside your mind,
So remember, Mommy, I am never far behind.
