Too Much Government

Too Much Government

Oh, so cruel is the world,
For little boy and girls.
Parents want to correct their child,
To keep them from going wild.
But the government thinks they know all,
When parents try to correct, they are up against the wall.
Do no spank for it’s called abuse.
The government is so obtuse.
They always think they know best,
But they’ve yet to pass the test.
To me the government knows only crap,
Parents and children are caught in a trap.
Kids are running wild for no discipline’s received.
When parents spank they are deceived.
The kids yell abuse for a little smack.
The people need their lives back.
The government treat parents like a 3 yr old,
No to this, no to that is all we’re ever told.
To make this world a better place to be,
Government please hear our pleas.
Let parents raise their children right.
So if you don’t want our kids to go wild,
Don’t spare the rod and spoil the child.

What is Normal?

Human nature's not perfect for it will never be,
We are all so very different, we all have different needs.
You need this, I need that, this will never change,
You and I, our thoughts can never be rearranged.
What is considered normal, Can anyone explain,
You and I may be different but we together ride life's train.
Am I not normal because I don't do the same as you,
Are you not normal because you are different too?
I may sometimes be something that you are not,
Does that me that I am not normal. Do I not or do I ought?
I think no one really knows what normal really means,
I guess that means no one's normal, or to me that's the way it seems.

In Memory of Breanna

Smile and look to heaven
you just might see my face,
For no matter where you are
I will be in every place.
I will be the wind, the sun,
the rain and the sky that is blue,
I will be the stars at night
and the moon shining down on you.
So do not cry for me for my spirits lingers on,
I live in your hearts and memories,
And your every waking dawn.
So although I am not with you in body,
I am with you heart and soul.
Loving and watching over you,
ALWAYS, no matter where you go.

I don't like

I don't like to be lied too, I don't like someone stealing off of me, but I hate someone who beats a child or an elderly person, I hate someone who tries to demean me or others to make themselves look better.

Freedoms

"A will regulate militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"

Be not afraid

Be not afraid of those who carry guns but of those who try to take them. Kim perry Gayheart

'The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you
And be gracious to you;
The LORD turn His face toward you

A wife invited some people to dinner.
At the table, she turned to their six-year-old daughter and said,
"Would you like to say the blessing?"
"I wouldn't know what to say," the girl replied.
"Just say what you hear Mommy say," the wife answered.
The daughter bowed her head and said,
"Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?"
One particular four-year-old prayed,
"And forgive us our trash baskets
as we forgive those who put trash in our baskets."

KIDS IN CHURCH

A little boy was overheard praying:
"Lord, if you can't make me a better boy, don't worry about it.
I'm having a real good time like I am."

Children Written by Kim Gayheart

I used to work with children and loved it but noticed that people either ignored them or pushed them away. Children are out greatest asset. To all the kids ..they are special.

You look into the eyes of a child,
You see things you haven't seen in a while,
Like flowers beginning to bloom.

Children let see things in a different light,
They let you remember the stars at night,
They help you forget your day of gloom.

Children are so full of life and love,
They are like a dove,
They are innocent and free.

They are forgiving and sweet,
They keep you constantly on your feet,
To show you all the things they see.

They let you remember the joys of life,
To forget your troubles and strife,
They are what makes they world go round.

They are the future, to them be kind,
Listen to them, they have great minds,
Their laughter is like no other sound.

The love of a child is more precious than gold,
With them around you will never grow old,
So hug a child and give them love.

A child is a wondrous thing,
Happiness and joy they do bring,
Only this kind of love comes from above.

Children say the Darndest things.

After the christening of his baby brother in church,
Jason sobbed all the way home in the back seat of the car.
His father asked him three times what was wrong.
Finally, the boy replied,
"That preacher said he wanted us brought up in a Christian home,
and I wanted to stay with you guys."

Growing Up

I knew fear everyday of my life,
When is he gonna pull a gun or a knife.
He's threatened to kill us time after time,
Mom's boyfriend was nothing but slime.
Dishes being thrown against the wall,
As me and my siblings huddled in the hall.
Mom begging and pleading for him to stop,
So many times we'd call the cops.
What can they do, not much they say,
We cry and are scared because we have to stay.
I'd lay in bed praying at night,
Hoping by morning we would be alright.
Just knowing we are going to be dead,
"things will be alright," Mom always said.
We'd lay in bed hearing them two fussing,
Mom's crying and pleading while he's a cussing.
So many time's he's held a gun to my face,
As I'd grabbed the babies, how my heart would race.
I'd grabbed the kids, we'd get in the car,
Sometimes we'd get away, sometimes we wouldn't get far.
Many a night's we'd sleep in the car on the street,
often times without anything to eat.
Life was hell growing up, for he was mean,
I never thought I'd live to see age sixteen.

In God We Trust

This Pastor has guts!!
Thought you might enjoy this,
Its very interesting
This is a Prayer given in Kansas at the opening session of their Senate. It seems Prayer still upsets some people. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate,
Everyone was expecting the usual generalities,
But this is what they heard:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.
We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.
We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.
We have killed our unborn and called it choice.
We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem.
We have abused power and called it politics.
We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition.
We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.
We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.
Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from Every sin and set us free.
Amen!"
The response was immediate.
A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest.
In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls responding negatively. The church is now receiving international requests for copies of this prayer from India, Africa and Korea
Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on his radio program, "The Rest of the Story," and received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired. With the Lord's help! , may this prayer sweep over our nation and whole heartedly become our desire so that we again can be called "one nation Under God."
If possible, please pass this prayer on to your friends. "If you don't Stand for something, you will fall for everything."
Think about this: If you forward this prayer to everyone on your e-mail List, in less than 30 days it would be heard by The world. How many People in your address book will not receive this prayer....do you have the Guts to pass it on?

Poetry has a way of expressing hurts and thoughts that otherwise would remain unspoken. Which later I will post a few. Right now just too tired to do much and I am just learning how to use this. Hope to see you all on here later. Until we meet again, have a good one.
I have no quality of life. Pain has taken over my life. I couldn't wait for life to get better. I had so many plans and in an instant someone took it away from me. People for the most part are selfish and self absorbed.

life or something like it

Do you ever wonder what life really is or mean? Do we really live or just exist?
