A Cajun Christmas Killing by Ellen Byron My rating: 5 of 5 stars Oh my what an awesome read. Ellen Byron is a new author for me. This was an exciting and fun read, a lot of twist and turns that left me guessing. I haven't given a 5 star review in a while, that's how good this book is. Although this is the third book in the Cajun Country Mystery it makes for a good stand alone. I liked this book so much that I am looking forward to reading the first and second in this series.Love the characters and the charm this book exudes, it was interesting and kept me riveted until the last page. Cat Got Your Secrets by Julie Chase My rating: 4 of 5 stars This series gets better and better. The characters are easy to relate to and they are funny. I can actually picture what everyone looks like. I like Julie Chase's series, "Kitty Couture Mystery" and I am looking for the next installment. I love the fact that the story flows easily and you have a Mystery within a mystery. Cat Got Your Cash by Julie Chase My rating: 5 of 5 stars This series is set in New Orleans so that in itself is colorful. This is the second book of the Kitty Couture Mystery. I have not read the first in the series, " Cat Got Your Diamonds", but you don't need to read it first to understand the second book. I just absolutely enjoyed this book, it was funny, witty and full of surprises. The characters are the type that anyone at some time in their life can relate to. They are colorful, mystical and Julie really brings them to life. It was easy to follow and had a nice flow. Packed full of action and I just didn't want to put it down.
