Cat Got Your Cash by Julie Chase My rating: 5 of 5 stars This series is set in New Orleans so that in itself is colorful. This is the second book of the Kitty Couture Mystery. I have not read the first in the series, " Cat Got Your Diamonds", but you don't need to read it first to understand the second book. I just absolutely enjoyed this book, it was funny, witty and full of surprises. The characters are the type that anyone at some time in their life can relate to. They are colorful, mystical and Julie really brings them to life. It was easy to follow and had a nice flow. Packed full of action and I just didn't want to put it down. Murder, Handcrafted by Isabella Alan My rating: 4 of 5 stars I just loved this book. It's the fifth in the series, although I haven't read the first four It was well written that I didn't feel lost. It was funny, cute, loving and quite a mystery. It's one of those books that keeps you guessing as to who, what, when, where and why.The characters are small town America and like all towns you have those people you love and those you love to hate. Angie is owner of Running Stitch, an Amish quilt shop and on the side she solves murders much to the chagrin of her beau James Mitchell, Sheriff. Angie gets involved when a murder happens on her parents property and her best friend Jonah is the prime suspect. The worst of it is the sighting of "Big Foot" near the scene of the crime that has brought in enthusiasts from all over trampling in her parents yard and causing all kinds of aggravation with the investigation. Angie is spun in all different directions with her mother's high society ways, her Dad's stubbornness and her boyfriend trying to keep her from investigating the murder.She gets the shock of her life when a video shows up on YouTube making her a viral sensation and helping solve the "Big Foot" sighting but will she be able to help her best friend or will he be going to jail for murder? Bluegrass State of Mind by Kathleen Brooks My rating: 5 of 5 stars Kathleen Brooks has a new fan. Loved this book. It was exciting, different and wasn't predictable. I so enjoyed all the characters and she made the Bluegrass come to life. Every Beat by Samantha Rey My rating: 5 of 5 stars I am so mad at you, Samanth Rey. How can I go on? I finished "Every Beat" and now my heart is broken. I have mixed feelings. I think I will go now and cry some more. I hate you!!!!. Not. This was an awesome and an emotional read. I am still kinda sad about what happened. Maybe it should be called "Every Second Beat" because my heart has stopped. While reading this i was thinking I am going to give this a four because I wasn't all in it like I usually am but halfway through my heart was into even more but near the end of the book my heart just broke into a million pieces.
