A Cajun Christmas Killing by Ellen Byron My rating: 5 of 5 stars Oh my what an awesome read. Ellen Byron is a new author for me. This was an exciting and fun read, a lot of twist and turns that left me guessing. I haven't given a 5 star review in a while, that's how good this book is. Although this is the third book in the Cajun Country Mystery it makes for a good stand alone. I liked this book so much that I am looking forward to reading the first and second in this series.Love the characters and the charm this book exudes, it was interesting and kept me riveted until the last page. Cat Got Your Secrets by Julie Chase My rating: 4 of 5 stars This series gets better and better. The characters are easy to relate to and they are funny. I can actually picture what everyone looks like. I like Julie Chase's series, "Kitty Couture Mystery" and I am looking for the next installment. I love the fact that the story flows easily and you have a Mystery within a mystery. This time Lacy's father is accused and she will do anything and pay anything to find the real killer to prove her father's innocents. This time the price may just be her life. View all my reviews
