My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Omg, great book. I didn't want to put it down. I did shed a tear or two. Loved it. This is my first Stacy Claflin book but it sure won't be the last.

Saving Meghan by D.J. Palmer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
OMG, This was a emotional roller coaster read. I cried a couple of times, got mad and questioned myself throughout this book. This is was exciting and had a few twists that i didn't see coming. There is nothing worse when you question yourself and your sanity and this is exactly what the two main characters went through. What do you do when those you are supposed to trust betray you? AWESOME book and characters. They feed off of each other both good and bad. A must read. I wouldn't mind seeing this in a movie format. Hmm?

Read and Gone by Allison Brook
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I have not read the first book in this series and reading this second one I didn't feel like I had missed anything. I Absolutely loved this book. It was fun, fresh and fascinating. I did not want to stop reading it to see who dun it. I really liked the main character, Carrie because she is someone people can relate to and her little feline friend, Smokey Joe. I will be reading the first in this series, it was that good.
I love the ghostly element to the book and the ghost is lovable and kind. Just when you think you figured it out, you are thrown a curve ball. There are a couple of cozy mystery series I love and this is right there at the top with them and I love the cozy mysteries genre.
I think anyone who love Cozies will enjoy this book as much as I have. This has it all murder, romance, intrigue, haunting and a side order of love of family.

Baby Teeth by Zoje Stage
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Wow, just pure evil. I thought after a few chapters in I was going to have to have someone perform and exorcism on this book it was that demonic. The first few chapters were kinda slow but picked up and got better as it went along.
This was on of those books that mess with your mind. It's in our nature to love and care for all children and to only see the good in them but this book totally goes against the laws of nature. It made the mother in me feel guilty for hating a child so much.
This is one of those books that I didn't really like any of the characters except for bad tooth woman and the therapist.
Both parents seemed self involved and worried too much about having the perfect everything. They seemed to hide from the realities of life. The child is extremely bright and genus and the plotting goes well beyond her years but that is why I call her genus.
I can feel the mothers pain and hopelessness when she tries to tell husband what is going on and he just doesn't believe her because the child is good as gold when he is around.
I tell ya, this would make you change your mind about having kids. Perfect plotting and well written devious plans by the author. Kudos in giving me the heebie jeebies, a true devils spawn.

Playing With Bonbon Fire by Dorothy St. James
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A great read, full of twists and turns. I love the main character because of the adversity in her life. Shows that strength and love comes from the most unlikely places as well as murder. Even though this is the second book in this installment I had no trouble following the story. I am looking forward to trying all the interesting recipes. I am definitely going to read the first book of this series and I can't hardly wait for the next book to see what other adventures that life takes her on.
This book is full of adventures and intrigue. If you love a good mystery with heartfelt sentiments then this series is for you. I can actually picture the happenings in this little island as if on tv. Dorthy St. James brings your imaginations alive and keeps you guessing.
