Sweet Dreams by Stacy Claflin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Omg, great book. I didn't want to put it down. I did shed a tear or two. Loved it. This is my first Stacy Claflin book but it sure won't be the last.

Saving Meghan by D.J. Palmer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
OMG, This was a emotional roller coaster read. I cried a couple of times, got mad and questioned myself throughout this book. This is was exciting and had a few twists that i didn't see coming. There is nothing worse when you question yourself and your sanity and this is exactly what the two main characters went through. What do you do when those you are supposed to trust betray you? AWESOME book and characters. They feed off of each other both good and bad. A must read. I wouldn't mind seeing this in a movie format. Hmm?

The Marine's Song
- From the Halls of Montezuma,
- To the shores of Tripoli;
- We fight our country's battles
- In the air, on land, and sea;
- First to fight for right and freedom
- And to keep our honor clean:
- We are proud to claim the title
- Of United States Marine.
- Our flag's unfurled to every breeze
- From dawn to setting sun;
- We have fought in every clime and place
- Where we could take a gun;
- In the snow of far-off Northern lands
- And in sunny tropic scenes;
- You will find us always on the job
- The United States Marines.
- Here's health to you and to our Corps
- Which we are proud to serve;
- In many a strife we've fought for life
- And never lost our nerve;
- If the Army and the Navy
- Ever look on Heaven’s scenes;
- They will find the streets are guarded
- By United States Marines.

Mystery of Man and Woman
There’s one mystery yet to be solved-
Love between man and woman that are involved.
Like a language barrier where one can’t understand the other-
One is not involved enough-
The other wants to smother.
One wants to talk -
The other's too tired to listen.
One wants to sleep -
The other’s into kissin’.
One wants to go out -
The other wants to stay home.
One wants to cuddle -
The other wants to be alone.
One wants to watch a movie -
The other - games on at eight.
One wants to get up early -
The other wants to sleep late.
They are both of a separate time, maybe a different universe,
No matter what one wants, the other wants the reverse.
It’s not one or the other, they should both take the blame,
So as long as there’s man and woman, things will remain the same.
One will always want that, the other wants this,
That’s just the way it is as long as there is a mr. and mrs

True through and Through for the Red, White, and Blue

You don't speak for me so don't even try.
I don't bow down to dictators and I never will,
My American pride you can never steal.
You can say, go and do as you please,
But I love this country, sea to shining sea.
I am a patriot through and through
I will stand up for the red white and blue.
Red for the soldiers standing up for our rights that died,
love that is as deep and far-reaching as the blue sky.
White for the states that salute as our flag prodly waves,
I will be a Patriot, till my dying day.
So if patriot stands for god and guns,
I guess that would be me and I'm not the only one.
We stand for freedom, liberty, and justice for all,
And believe when I say we'd die before our flag falls.

Support Our Troops
The Army, Air Force, Marine and Navy,
Who believe in peace and that’s no maybe.
We Americans want you to know,
Even if our feelings don’t always show,
That our hearts and thought are with you,
Your loved ones with hearts so true.
We are behind you so don’t you doubt,
The patriotism and support so devout.
We know sometimes you are lonely and blue,
But we believe in the things that you do.
We appreciate you one and all,
The pride you show still standing tall.
We want you all to come back home,
Remember you are never alone.
We are with you every step of the way,
Our faith in you will never stray.
We lover you all and miss you,
Always remember our hearts are true.

Why Mommy Why ???
Mommy, do you ever miss me?
Why wouldn't you let me be?
Why couldn't I grow to be alive?
Oh, Why mommy did I have to die?
Why wouldn't you let me grow?
I was a part of you didn't you know?
Never to hear my little cries,
Why Mommy did I have to die?
I could have made your life complete,
With the patter of my little feet.
Never to watch me learn and explore,
Because I don't exist anymore.
Even though you didn't want me to grow,
Another couple would have wanted me so.
You gave me life and took it away,
I will never grow to go out and play.
Do you ever wonder what look I might have had,
Would I have looked like you or my dad.
Mommy, you may never see my face,
But thoughts of me you will never erase.
I'll go on living inside your mind,
So remember, Mommy, I am never far behind.

You Will Never Bring Us Down
You'll never bring us down,
For we are too strong to fall.
You can try to destroy our buildings,
But you'll never make us crawl.
For we will pull together,
We are Americans and believe
in our country so true.
We will get back on our feet,
And come looking for you.
For many a person you have
caused great pain.
You will pay for all crimes
and our faith in the US remains.
We Americans have each other
and together we will stand,
The United States of America
Will never come to an end.
We will suffer many trials,
many pain and shed lots of tears.
But whoever committed this crime,
Better be in fear.
For We believe in our country,
And the people in which in it do live.
The American people will
remain tall and strong,
And we will repay you for the
people you have wronged.
Don't try to bring us down
for you will only fail.
For we aren't like most
we won't tuck in our tails.
We are patient people
and justice will come in time,
I guess I can honestly say
Your death certificate you've just signed.

for all Americans and other countries who lost someone 9/11 We still think about you and yours.
A sin was committed on Sept. 11th, 2001
Lives of our loved ones were lost,
But don't you worry for your loss is ours,
and Justice will be served at all cost.
This day is sad and disbelieving,
and we've all shed many of tears.
All across the world,
someone has lost someone dear.
Today someone lost a husband,
a grandparent, son or father.
Or maybe they lost a mother, wife,
a friend or a daughter.
Always remember your American family,
will be by your side come what may.
And Osama Bin Laden will woe,
that he woke on this very day.

What is Normal- Who decides who is crazy? Ummm
Human nature's not perfect for it will never be,
We are all so very different, we all have different needs.
You need this, I need that, this will never change,
You and I, our thoughts can never be rearranged.
What is considered normal, Can anyone explain,
You and I may be different but we together ride life's train.
Am I not normal because I don't do the same as you,
Are you not normal because you are different too?
I may sometimes be something that you are not,
Does that me that I am not normal. Do I not or do I ought?
I think no one really knows what normal really means,
I guess that means no one's normal, or to me that's the way it seems.

-Ronald Reagan
"We must reject the idea that every time a law is broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions."---Ronald Reagan

I am a child
Please don’t hurt me, let me be,
I am a child can’t you see.
I am innocent of all things living,
I am loving and forgiving.
Don’t break me down before I grow,
Because I have seeds yet to sow.
Don’t plant bad seeds inside of me,
Think of me like a tree -
You give me love - I grow strong.
You give me understanding - I know wrong.
You give me tenderness - I can bend,
When storms come rumbling in.
You give me courage - my limbs will sprout,
Gone are all my self-doubt.
With these ingredients I can stand on my own,
Without these ingredients I can’t make it alone.
So when you see a broken down tree,
When you hurt me - that could be me.
So when you see a broken down tree,
When you hurt me - that could be me.

the worst thing
The worst thing a nation could think is," It won't happen here," once they do that, then they are blind as to what is going on around them and leaves the nation open for such things. Anything is possible, anywhere, anytime.
